Field Data Page

This is the main page for Field Data Management.

This page allows you to view, upload/create, and manage field data related to the selected lot. This page will be empty or inaccessible if you have not created at least one agricultural lot through the appropriate guided procedure accessible from the Lot dropdown menu.

It should be remembered that the single agricultural lot is the reference management unit for all functions related to Field Data

  • The Field Data page displays the name of the lot on which you are working (selected through the Lot dropdown menu) and the declared crop. The geo-referenced map of the selected lot is displayed on the right. The Edit-Details-Delete buttons allow you to act on the selected lot.

  • The Field Data, Field Data Graph, Notebook, Calendar buttons allow you to navigate between different specific pages related to field data and CN.

  • In the central section of the FIeld Data page, all the field data loaded for the selected lot are graphed in a time-line mode (vertical timeline). For each field data, the observation date in the field declared during data loading is indicated. Each data, already loaded and shown in the timeline, can be modified or deleted.

  • The Filter feature (located at the top right of the time-line) allows you to filter the display for a specific type of field data.

  • The Load More feature (located at the bottom left of the time-line) allows you to display in time-line further field data related to previous dates/years (if present).

Load new field data

Clicking on the "+ New" button, it is possible to select from a dropdown menu the type of field data, choosing from the following:

  • Phenological phases: the specific stages of a crop's life cycle, such as germination, flowering, fruit ripening, and so on.

  • Climatic adversities: intense atmospheric events, such as frost, hail, drought, waterlogging, and so on.

  • Phytophagous: insects that feed on the plant organisms of crops, such as leaves, buds, and roots, causing damage.

  • Pathologies: diseases caused by fungi, viruses, and bacteria.

  • Physiopathies: crop damage caused by non-infectious and non-parasitic environmental factors, such as treatment burns, cold or heat burns.

  • Treatments: the administration of phytosanitary products.

  • Irrigation: the administration of water to crops.

  • General: any additional data that the user needs to annotate in the CN that does not fall into the above categories.

  • In the case of Treatments and Fertilizers, the product used is usually inserted by clicking on the white space (Product or Fertilizer) and typing in the initials of the desired product. Then, one of the products displayed in the list from the Ministry's database is selected.

  • Only if the desired product is not present in the displayed list, click on the + button (above the word Product or Fertilizer) and proceed with a manual entry of a new product. Please note that manual entry is not immediate: only after a few days, the new product is validated and added to the list mentioned above.
