Station Dashboard

This page provides a concise and introductory overview of the georeferenced meteorological forecasts for the station and the temporal trends of the main microclimatic factors measured.

Main Dashboard graph

In this section, the main parameters (temperature, humidity, rain) measured by the station in the last 24 hours, 48 hours, or the last 7 days and geo-referenced weather forecasts on the location of the individual station for the next 10 days, are graphed.

Summary dashboard of temperature, humidity, rain data provided by the station and future

The time interval for data visualization can be selected through the four buttons located at the bottom left of the dashboard.

Selection buttons for the time interval

Legend of the Dashboard graph:

  • the green line represents the trend of relative humidity expressed in %;

  • the orange line represents the trend of air temperature expressed in °C;

  • the blue histograms (possibly present within the Dashboard graph) represent the individual events of rainfall (hourly data) recorded in the displayed time interval (24H, 48h, 7 days) and planned for the next 10 days;

By positioning the mouse cursor within the dashboard graph, a summary sheet of the temperature, humidity and rainfall values is displayed at the measurement time instants.

The WiForAgri platform allows each customer to set up to ten points of interest for obtaining weather forecasts. By default, the forecast data is reported for the position of the weather station. To unlock the additional service, please contact Customer Support.

Geo-referenced weather forecasts on the individual station location for the next 10 days are also reported on the DSS models. This is a great advantage by thus having a forecast of potential infection and/or water stress or nutritional deficiency.

Cumulative indices - Dashboard

In the Dashboard page, there are three cumulative indices related to rainfall, potential evapotranspiration, and leaf wetness. These cumulative indices automatically calculate the sum (cumulative value) of millimeters of rainfall, millimeters of potentially evapotranspired water (ETo), and hours of leaf wetness. The time interval used to calculate the cumulative values can be selected through the appropriate buttons present for each individual value/graph, either for 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. To perform counts on customized time intervals, use the Cumulative Indices page.

Synthetic Indices Models - Dashboard

If one or more agricultural fields have been associated with the weather station and one or more DSS Forecasting models have been activated, then three simple synthetic indices for each active DSS model are reported in the lower part of the Dashboard page for immediate reading.

Example of some synthetic indices present in the Dashboard and related to a specific DSS Predictive Model.
